Description |
Rattle, Baby, metal and nacre. Charm bell, made from a hollow bell, small metal ring, and large nacre ring. Metal bell formed from a single sheet of sterling silver formed into low relief images of Buster Brown on front and dog Tige on reverse, bent and melted to form hollow bell, with integral ring attachment point on top; interior of bell contains an unknown number of metal balls (possibly lead or pewter). Small metal ring formed from unknown material; tarnish but lack of rust could make it cupronickel or nickel silver. Larger ring appears to be made from hard nacre, in a small ring size. Hallmark on Tige side of bell is "[LF in script] Sterling". No other markings. |
